Techxpo -2016
P.A College of Engineering, Mangaluru, organized Techxpo -2016, an inter collegiate technical competition and tech exhibition for High School and PUC/ Higher Secondary students on 5th November 2016. Around 400 students from various schools and colleges participated in the event.
Techxpo 2016 included indoor exhibitions by PACE and outdoor exhibitions by Kanachur Medical College, Yenapoya Dental College and Asian Surgicals, Mangaluru which were visited by more than 500 visitors from different colleges and schools. Other competitions included technology based essay, elocution, exhibition and quiz. Various departments in P.A. College of Engineering organized technical competitions related to their respective fields.
Valedictory program of Techxpo 2016 was organized in the evening. Principal Dr. Abdul Sharif, Vice Principal Dr. Ramiz M.K, Dr. A.J. Antony (Dean – Student Affairs), Prof. Surfaraz Hasim J (Director – Academics), HODs of various departments, Chief Coordinators of Techxpo Prof. Nabeel Ahmed, Prof. Shamna N.V., Prof. Sayyad Ameen and Prof. Sirajuddin were present. Winners were awarded with gold coins, trophies and certificates. The sponsors of gold coins were Malabar gold, Mangalore and Rajadhani gold, Mangalore.
The overall championship was bagged by Sharada PU College, Managluru and the runners up were St. Aloysious PU College, Mangaluru.
