Mangalore, Department of computer science and Engineering under TI university
program conducted three days workshop on IOT Application Design from 26th
to 28th of march 2018. The Internet of Things will be the next big
thing on the Planet Earth, and everybody is a stakeholder as the IoT is
orthogonal and pervasive, impacting at the roots of our lives.Workshop was meant for introducing
the Internet of Things, the way it should be for students and engineers who
would like to understand the fundamentals of IoT design and will be able to
explore for more participate in the design of IoT application for solving the
problems or expected outcomes. The fundamentals of IoT applications design were
discussed, which included ARM Cortex M4, Energia Frame work, Designing of
Embedded Server etc. Secondly, groups were formed to design the IoT solutions
for different problems / outcomes.
The
Inauguration of the workshop held at 9:30 A.M, function was presided by our
honourable principal Dr. Abdul Sharief. . Other dignitaries present on the
occasion are, Prof. Surfaraz Hasim J Director
(Academics), Dr. Sharmila Kumari HOD, CSE and Dr.Abdul Rahiman S HOD,ECE. The
staff co-ordinators for the workshop are Prof. Habeeb ur Rehman, Prof Mohammed
Saifuddin, Prof Nishant Narayanan, Prof Mohammed Saleem and Prof. Nafeesth.
