Center for management and research MBA department, PACE had organized a post dinner session, Carpe Omnia in the campus on May 5, 2018 which emphasized on enhancing the students` knowledge by giving them an exposure to the real life problems faced by the corporate world. Here, students were asked to tackle the corporate human resource related problems based on Harvard HR case review and depict the solutions for those problems in a creative way. The session was a fusion of both training and entertainment. It was a fun based learning, which imparts creative knowledge for the betterment and wellbeing of the students . Sessions like this not only imparts knowledge but also contributes to build problem solving ability within the students. It not only makes the students enjoy learning but also make them realize the beauty of learning .
Series-1 of the Carpe Omnia aimed at tackling the problems faced by human resource departments in the current scenario. There were four teams with the solutions for three major HR problems including excessive absenteeism ,boredom and labour turnover . First the team visionaries portrayed the causes for employees absenteeism at the workplace and solutions to overcome those problems with screen plays and role play. This was followed by innovators and mastermind performance depicting the causes and creative way to tackle such tedious tasks with small alterations in work environment .After the two teams performance there was a short break with refreshments the session resumed after short break with the mime and a skit by team brain stormers was conducted. At the end to cherish the students, there was a bonfire which added extra energy and enthusiasm to the programme to make it a ffunfilled one.
