An invited talk by Mr Shihab Kalandar, Co- Founder
and Chief Customer Officer (CCO), Novigo Solutions, Mangaluru, and Induction of
new office bearers of Electronics & Communication Engineering Forum 2018-19
(IME) was held at the institute premises on 29th September, 2018.
The event began with the Welcome Speech by
final year student Ms. Ayeshathul Saziya. Dr. Abdul Rahiman, HOD, EC Department, introduced the speaker.
The resource person, Mr Shihab
Kalandar, felicitated and wished the new office bearers. He delivered a
technical talk on new innovations in technology such as Block Chain Technology,
Artificial Intelligence, Crypto Currency, Big Data and Data Analytics. He also
shared his experience with students and his journey through his career and
motivated them to excel in their career. He urged the students to prepare
themselves by deploying the projects based on new idea and adopting new
technology. He gave a message to students that, "Everybody commits mistake. One
should learn from mistakes and move forward to chase their dreams in life".
Dr. Abdul Sharief, Principal, PACE,
delivered the presidential address. The Academic
toppers and students with outstanding performance in individual subjects for
the academic year 2017-18 were honored by Dr Abdul Salam, CEO, PACE Group and
Mr. Abdulla Ibrahim, Executive Director, PAET.
Dr. Ramis M.K, Vice Principal and Prof. Surfraz Hashim,
Director (Academics) graced the occasion. Prof. Mohammed Husaain, Prof.
Chandana B R and Prof. Mohammed Saleem were present. The faculty members and
students of the Electronics and Communication department attended the program.
Dr. Abdul Rahiman, HOD, EC Department, presented a memento as the token of respect and appreciation to Mr Shihab Kalandar. Mr. Haroon Rasheed and Ms. Aysha mastered the ceremony. Mr. Veera Venkatesh presented the vote of thanks.
