The Engineering Community across India
celebrates Engineers Day every year on September 15th to commemorate the
birthday of the legendary Engineer Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya.
The Engineers day was celebrated in Department of Computer
Science & Engineering from Second Year CSE Students in the presence of all
CSE Faculty Members. Head of the Department Dr. M. Sharmila Kumari highlighted in
her talk, the importance and Contributions of eminent Engineers in various fields
to the Indian society. She added that during the current age of knowledge-based
society, Science & Technology and technical education has assumed an
indisputably significant role and it has been making rapid strides in keeping
pace with various current industrial innovations & technological
advancement. She motivated students to be aware with the latest and
relevant technologies to make them competent in the market. The student
coordinators Mr. Shayiz and team conducted Technical Quiz Competition to second
year CSE students.
