The ASCII, Student Forum of Computer Science & Engineering, in association with ISTE, P.A.College of Engineering Mangalore, organized an invited talk on 10th April 2019.
The Resource person for the Program was Dr. Mohammed Misbahuddin, Director, C-DAC, Bangalore, delivered an Invited Talk on "Trust in Electronic Transactions". He highlighted the importance of the technology of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) along with its widely used atomic application - Digital Signatures is the only globally accepted system for assuring trust-worthy systems and how the components of trust - Authenticity, Integrity, Non-repudiation and Confidentiality - are assured through this Technology.
The function was presided by the Principal Dr. Abdul Sharief. The other dignitaries on the dias were the vice Principal Dr. Ramis M K, Dean Research Dr. Zahid Ansari, Head of CSE Dept. Dr. Sharmila Kumari and staff coordinators Prof. Hafeez M K, ASCII Coordinator and Prof. Prashanth Pai, ISTE Coordinator.
The welcome speech was given by Mr. Rashad, ISTE student President. Ms. Nivedha Introduced the Chief Guest, Mr. Nikhil Amin, President of ASCII proposed vote of thanks. Ms. Nishmitha Uchil, Secretary of ASCII was the Master of Ceremony.
