Gender Champions Forum was inaugurated in P A College of Engineering on Friday, 29th April 2016 as per the directive issued from UGC. Dr. Rameela Shekhar, Dean and Professor, P. G. Dept., Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, was the chief guest of the function. Inauguration was followed by a talk on \\\'Gender Equality - Gap\\\'\\\' by Dr. Rameela Shekhar whose expertise and knowledge in the area added a great value to the session. The session created awareness about the gender gap prevailing in the society and the probable physical, emotional and psychological problems related to this issue. The talk guided young minds to take up measures to overcome stress. Principal Dr. Abdul Sharief, graced the occassion by his presence. Dr. Sharmila, HOD, Dept. of Computer Science, Prof. Nabeel Ahemad, Co curricular activities coordinator and Professors from various other departments were present during the programme.
