M.E.A Inauguration Report
Mechanical Engineers Association (M.E.A) activities for the academic year 2016-2017 was inaugurated on 13th August 2016, Thursday. Mr. Abdulla Ibrahim Executive Director was the Chief Guest of the function. The program was presided over by Principal Dr. Abdul Sharief. Professor & Head (Mechanical) Dr Ramis M K and HOD’S of other departments and faculty members were present during the function.. Welcome speech was given by Mr. Masood Salman (Student’s Vice President, M.E.A). Dr. Abdul Sharief, Principal enlightened students with his thoughts and noble words. He advised students to learn at least one programming language which will help them in simulation of real time problems. Mr. Abdul Ahad (VII semester Mechanical) gave the brief report of various events conducted previous year under the banner of M.E.A and the plans for upcoming semester. Prof. Surfraz Hashim addressed the students about how inner powers and capabilities hidden among them can be used for Research and Innovations. Dr. Ramis M. K in his talk urged the various department HODs to create platforms for interdisciplinary research. The Certificates for the students who had undergone training for CREO was distributed during the function by Mr Abdullah, Executive Director. The office bearers for the academic year were felicitated during the program. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mr. Roshan Kallai of VII semester Mechanical Engineering.
