Technical Talk on “Exploring Civil Engineering Career Paths with Software”

On Dec 13, 2023, the Department of Civil Engineering, in collaboration with CADD Centre Bendoorwell, recently conducted a technical talk titled “Exploring Civil Engineering Career Paths with Software” for final and pre-final year students. Dr. Palakshappa K, HOD of Civil Engineering at PACE, highlighted the significance of software in professional growth, emphasizing its need and scope. Er. N. Rashwin, the resource person, discussed various types of software and their applications in civil engineering. Dr. Praveen Suvarna, Associate Professor of the Civil Engineering Department, coordinated the program, with active participation from students and staff. The event successfully shed light on the crucial role of software in shaping successful careers in Civil Engineering.
