Orientation programme for 17th batch of first year students was held on 1st August 2017. The programme was held in PACE auditorium with 1000+ gathering including parents and students. The major objective of the programme was to make the parents and students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the Institute and ensuring parental participation in monitoring the performance, progress of the students and also to make the parents to learn how to use Spaneos software to monitor their wards performance using technology.
Executive Director Mr. Abdulla Ibrahim, Director Adminisration Mr. K M Haneef, Principal Dr. Abdul Sharief, Vice Principal Dr. Ramis M K, Dean Academics Prof. Surfraz Hasim J, Dean Research Dr. Zahid Ansari, HODs of various departments were present during the function.
Prof. Surfraz Hasim J in his motivational talk advised the students to have a definite goal in their life and also stressed on proper planning to achieve their goal. Prof. Abdul Majeed, Head department of Mathematics briefed the students about the rules and regulations of the institute and requested the students and parents to understand and abide by the institutional rules and norms.
Executive Director Mr. Abdulla Ibrahim in his address congratulated students for choosing PACE and wished them for their future endeavours in the college.
In his brief address to the students and parents, the Principal of PACE, Dr. Abdul Sharief briefed about the new module system introduced by VTU to students and suggested the students to aim high in their internal assessment.
Dr. Ramis MK in his concluding remarks advised the parents to keep track of their ward by being in touch with college and also educated the students about the counselling methods followed in the college.
Prof. Nabeel Ahamed from the department of chemistry, introduced HODs of various departments to the gathering. Prof. Yathin Krishna from the department of Mechanical engineering was the master of ceremony for the program and gave brief overview about PA college of engineering and PA education trust. The programme was inaugurated by remembering the almighty, Professor Zishaan from the department of chemistry delivered Kirat. Prof. Ismail Sahffi HOD department of Physics delivered welcome address. And Prof. Mustafa Kaleel HOD department of Chemistry delivered vote of thanks.
The programme was concluded by National Anthem which was followed by lunch at PAFGC.
