The induction of the new office bearers of various clubs under the Mechanical Engineering Association for the year 2018-19 was held at the Institute premises on 1st September 2018.

Dr. T Mallikarjunappa Professor and Chairman, Department of Business Administration at Mangalore University, graced the occasion.

Principal, Vice Principal, AGM, Dept HOD`s & Student Members of Various Clubs & Faculty in-charges attended the inaugural function.

Addressing the gathering by putting forth the achievements & life history of India`s great entrepreneurs, Dr. T Mallikarjunappa said that, to be a successful as an entrepreneur, individual must be mentally prepared to face challenges and risks. He cautioned that that one may`ve to face challenges Lonely but success befriended. He apprised that, the one who stays vigilant and does not give up will certainly succeed. He shared some of the invaluable experiences of his Career.

Dr. Abdul Sharief, Principal, PACE, presided over the function. In his address, Dr Sharief briefed about the importance of the clubs and honored the chief guest. He wished for the success of the all the clubs and inspired the participants to actively engage themselves in the club activities to excel their intuition

Dr. Ramis M. K, Vice Principal and HOD-ME, thanked the students and the management for the trust and confidence reposed in the office bearers of the clubs. He advised the students to be proactive & stressed the importance of inter discipline engineering in the current job market.

Prof. Surfaraz Hasim, Director academics, Urged the students to develop a positive mindset and inculcate the spirit of team work, He recommended to channelize positive energy to achieve the determined actions

Dr. M. Sharmila Kumari, HOD- CS, Dr. Palakshappa K, HOD-Civil was present during the event & felicitated the captains & vice captains of various Clubs. 

Mr. Ahmed Sinan, Student of final year Mechanical Engineering & captain of the Entrepreneurship club, delivered the vote of thanks.
