Mechanical Engineering Association (MEA) in association with ROBOTICS CLUB of Department of P.A College of Engineering, Mangalore, organized a Technical talk on ROBOTICS PROCESS AND AUTOMATION IN INDUSTRIES on 15th May 2020 for the Engineering students. Dr.S.S.Aravinth, (Associate Professor, KL University, and Member of Samsung Prism Research Project - Computer Vision, Member of Data Science, ML & AI Research Group) was the resource person.

In his talk Dr.S.S.Aravinth explained the new Technology “ROBOTICS PROCESS AND AUTOMATION IN INDUSTRIES (RPA)”, which is one of the hottest and fast growing technology for improving the real time business, operations and processes. The speaker also emphasised on the use of software with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning capabilities to handle high-volume; repeatable tasks that previously required humans to perform. He appealed the students to take challenges. He confidently expressed that it belongs to the top of the whole organization’s IT infrastructure, enabling a company to implement the technology quickly and efficiently all without changing the existing infrastructure and systems. Along with the talk he made the session more interactive by showing video demo for a real time task. The program was followed by Q&A session.
