An Invited Talk on Nanomaterials by Dr Ahsan-ul- Haq Qurashi from KING FAHD UNIVERSITY OF PETROLEUM AND MINERALS (KFUPM) was delivered at P A College of Engineering Mangalore. The programme was organized by Mechanical Engineering Association (MEA) and attended by students of Mechanical Engineering, and Postgraduate and PhD students of Department of Chemistry from Mangalore University. Dr Ahsan is the coordinator of nanostructured chemical sensor group. Dr Ahsan in his talk explained the potential of nanomaterials in harnessing the solar energy and the methods of preparation of nanomaterials. The programme was presided by Vice Principal Dr Ramis M K and the memento to the guest handed over by Principal Dr Abdul Sharief. MEA Vice President Mr Masood delivered the welcome note and Joint Secretary Abdul Fathah registered the vote of thanks.
